These Shock Wave knuckle mitts are made of a durable and comfortable elasticized fabric blend. Featuring 1/2'' foam padding for protecting your knuckles (or your sparing partner's body). It's a non-slip fit and holds shape and size through repeated use and washings.
These are not intended for "serious" or advanced students or bag work. While very well made, they are for beginners or those looking for a economical set of sparring gloves. They are also popular among competitors that have no weight minimum for their equipment (since they are very light and fast).

These gloves were exactly what I was looking for. Light protection for my hands during my training as well as sparring. I recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of gloves for the above mentioned uses. Thanks Piranha.
 Good on people not on bags October 14, 2008

Good quality product; however, I still tore the skin off my knuckles when I used these on a striking dummy. They were very good for sparring especially when going from blocks to grappling to intermediate weapons. I DO NOT recommend these for use on a striking dummy unless you tape your hands first. For use on a dummy I would suggest the Cobra Sparring mitts - Black or the Back-fist sparring gloves - Black.
