It is easy to understand May 5, 2008 Jose Joacir dos santos (San Francisco, CA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got a copy just in time for my Qigong classes. It is easy to understand, the language is very clear, the information is valuable. Most of the books witten by Chinese authors and translated to English ou Spanish or Portuguese look like they are hiding details and valuable information. That is not the case with this book. I am very satisfied with it and now I want to buy other books from the same author. If you starting a new life with Qigong, this is the right book.
Something to truly study and use your whole life! March 14, 2008 Perfect Balance (Norge i mitt hjertet) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is THE comprehensive in-depth reference which weaves modern day scientific method and physics with ancient and reveared knowledge and training methods. I highlighted the heck out of my first copy so as to better comprehend the relationship of everything he uncovers. Its not a book you can just breeze through and feel satisfied; but rather find the true meaning in each section, then comes the real satisfaction. A MUST HAVE for any serious meditator. It opens the door for every other deep aspect in any form of meditation and life pursuit.
Good so far February 1, 2008 Rye Buy (USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've just made my way to chapter 3, so far very informative. QiGong is so good, that it has been hidden. It's only recently gaining real popularity in the West. This book is a must buy for anyone seriously interested in this amazing Art. By the way, it's a little cheaper here than at Barnes & Noble.

Interesting January 24, 2007 Dustin Blair (fortcollins, co) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
An interesting start to the root of chinese medicine and practical philosophy of such medicine. It helps the western mind understand the chinese view of the universe as well as granting a close scholarship of such views and how they apply to life, medicine, and longevity.
